It’s PERFECT and exactly what I was looking for to help my son learn to read a clock. After giving it to him (along with a pocket watch) & hanging it on the wall by his desk, he’s now able to tell time!Thank you!

  2. lucare

Like the colors, can change time for learning, love it

  3. LASHONDRA

I like the way the hour and minute hand are labeled. The numbers are easy to read and the infamous quarter past, half past, and quarter to verbiage is on the clock face. Second hand sweeps vise ticks which I like as well. I’m a homeschool mom so this was a great addition to the home office.

  4. Christine Wehunt-Gibson

I purchased this clock in August to hang in my classroom. It was a little small, but we adjusted our eyes. However, in January, is stopped working! New battery? No, that didn’t work. Not able to return to Amazon…

  5. izzyM

Wish the colors were a little brighter

  6. Tara Johnson

Perfect addition to our homeschool room! This was the perfect clock to help kids understand time and they love the clock! It’s basic but is well designed and cute without being a distraction. Have had it several months now and havnt had any issues.

  7. Teri Savell

We use this for homeschooling my 2nd grader. She knows time so much better now.

  8. Brutally Honest BeeBrutally Honest Bee

This is a wall clock in the home of a 7 year old to assist in reinforcing her telling time using an analog clock. The styling makes it palatable for the whole family to use without its teaching aspect jumping so far out at you, but being helpful to ALL nonetheless. This was a pricier clock due to its non-glass acrylic shatterproof face. Would have liked if it had been more affordable, but made the investment because I felt it would fit seamlessly into the color scheme of the home. Ultimately, it does the job intended and we have the safety net if it drops it won’t pose a danger.

  9. Brice

The clock work excellent, however, the is an unusual sound it makes beside the tic-toc sound it makes.

  10. Eunji o.

EASY TO READ, PERFECT SIZE, MY SON LOVES IT

  11. Jeff

    My toddler loves this clock!

  12. RMOM

So great for teaching kids how to tell time!I bought this for school but every child should have this at home so they can learn how to tell time!

  13. Vicki Williams

My little one responded so well to this clock. The hands, the seconds, the minutes, and hours. He got it! And quickly. Very colorful as well. Nice size as well.

  14. Michael

Great clock. I’ve bought them for all of my grandchildren. My five year old grandsons all learned to read an analog clock by these. Another great feature is that the clock is silent, no loud ticks. .

  15. Dawn M. Groff

This clock is helping my students learn to tell time on an analog clock. In one week it has made all the difference!

  16. Beth Ann Jackman

This is a must have for any teacher. I love how it has the hands and minutes labeled. It also has the quarter hours labeled. I have a student that is constantly asking me what time it is. I now refer him to the clock.

  17. Sandra Heimgartner

My 6th grade students are learning how to tell time without looking at their digital clocks on their computers!

  18. Amazon Customer

This is a quality product. Feels solid not flimsy. Love the colors. Huge help for a child learning to read a clock.

  19. Amazon Customer

My middle school students were unable to read the clock in my room when signing out/in to the room. Relied on asking other students the time, which was distracting as they used their computer and having conversations… advised students they need to learn how to read an analog clock for their own benefit. Clock is clearly labeled, easy to read, and after a brief lesson, students no longer rely on the computer to know the time.

  20. Judy Downs

    Expensive

  21. General

I love the clock and so do my kids! It’s beautiful, quiet, looks good on any wall, and keeps time well. It has not been up a week and my 3rd grader is already reading analog time.Amazon sent me a clock that worked, but did not have the minute hand labeled as pictured. I emailed the seller who responded within minutes. A replacement was in the mail within 24 hours. Excellent customer service!!

  25. DJ

My third graders are wonderfully engaged with our new clock! This clock is excellent for emerging time-telling students. At the same time it is fabulous for gifted students.Excellent seller!

  26. Amazon Customer

I teach middle school in a self-contained classroom. This has made teaching analog time reading so much easier.

  27. Stephanie R

This has an hour hand, minute hand, and second hand. All minutes are numbered. It shows how the hour is divided into quarters. Great learning tool!

  28. Em

Teaching our 6 year old grandson to tell time. Works well

  29. Jss11

Just what I needed, only wish the numbers were larger.

  30. Nicole

I work at an alternative learning center for 6 years now and have noticed a lot of my high school students struggling with reading time on an analog clock. I came upon this through an ad one Facebook and had to get it for my classroom. Now yes my kids said i was crazy for getting it but a lot of them love to go over to the wall where it is at and tell me the time it is!

  31. Chris

This is a great quality clock that if fun for kids to learn how to tell time. Kids enjoy looking at it and want to learn how to tell time. Great product for home or the classroom.

  32. Ashly W.

This clock has it all. It’s has been a big help for my kids as they learn how to tell time.

  33. Regina Combs

I love the ease with using this clock. It was easy for my grandson to see the different parts of the clock and how they work. He loved it!

  34. Dalida Y.Dalida Y.

Love this clock and they learned the time

  35. Stacy M

I can’t wait to use this clock in my classroom!

  36. J Nathan

Got it to help my brother learn the time

  37. Steve Carney

This clock is a terrific concept in and of itself, but the clear, straightforward design of the Owlconic clock sets it apart from the others, with their faces cluttered with illegible fonts, or too many colors or shapes, etc. I got this for my son, but – even though I’ve been able to tell analog time for a few years now – I also love it, because it’s so easy to read with even the briefest of glances. Better still, though, is their customer service: I had an issue with mine (even though it was well past warranty), and I’m almost dizzy from how quickly and cordially they helped me out. Save yourself some time (honestly, no pun intended), and don’t bother looking at any others; there is no need.

  38. D. Kelly

    Excellent teaching tool for kids.

  39. Young Hoon Kim

Hope it was glass covered instead of plastic.

  40. Aura Nelson

I liked this clock but the second hand got stuck yesterday and won’t advance. I haven’t done anything other than have it hanging in one spot on the wall so seems a bit weird that it would just break so soon. I’m disappointed in the quality.

  41. Zhanna

So far so good. Easy for kids to explain and use. Thanks!

  42. Chadell Williams

This clock gave my daughter and I all the foundational lessons needed to understand time. She is 5 and feels pretty smart!

  43. JoAnna C.JoAnna C.

Cool wall clock, quiet and easy to install. Helpful in learning time

  44. Michelle A.Michelle A.

I bought this clock over the others because I really like the more subdued color scheme. However, I can’t seem to position it so it doesn’t have a glare. I removed the lense hoping that would fix it, but the clock face is still too glossy. It might be better suited for larger rooms with flush or recessed ceiling lighting.

  45. colemanaccolemanac

This really helped our daughter learn to read a clock. My only wish was that it would be easier to move the hands. It has a regular (small) dial on the back that is tough to turn – using your finger nail. When you have to move the hands a lot – as you do when teaching about time on a clock – it would be nice to have something much more user friendly. Possibly even a way to easily open the front to move the hands?

  46. Arun Varghese

Bought in Jan ’23. By March, it is behind by 35 mins. Battery is new.

  47. Kristen

I wanted to buy something like this for my child and had been looking for something for a while. I first saw this clock at a friend’s house in her homeschool area and took note. I loved everything from the colors to the design. It was perfect! I ordered this clock which was quickly delivered. To say I wasn’t excited to show it off is an understatement. The clock is well-made, durable, and beautiful. Unfortunately, there was a mishap, and the clock was accidentally dropped on a hard surface and broke. I emailed the company and informed them of what happened. I was amazed by just how quickly I received a response. The company’s representative was helpful and is sending me a replacement for which, I am very thankful. The time and thoughtfulness Owlconic took to create learning tools that will help kids tell time on an analog clock are priceless. I can’t say enough how grateful I am to have noticed the clock in my friend’s home. For those of you who are on the fence about purchasing, don’t be. Owlconic is outstanding! Their products and customer service speak volumes! My child is FOUR years old and is starting to tell time on an analog clock because of this magnificent find! Whenever my child shows interest in wearing a watch – it will be purchased from Owlconic!

  48. Amazon Customer

    It was colorful.

  49. tracy c.

I was excited to get this. I wasn’t expecting this to be made so great but I did expect it to come in shape. Huge scratch on it well crack.Fisher price is better made ???????If I could give this zero stars I would. Should not come cracked.

  50. Melanie CriquiMelanie Criqui

This clock is perfect for the classroom wall. Mine is hanging up using a push pin on a bulletin board. The kids have been able to figure out how to tell time to the. minute using this! I love it. Highly recommend for a classroom wall.

  51. Tat Wai Chong

Cute but having loud ticking. No recommend to hang it on bedroom.

  52. Jonathan C. Gull

This is not a regrettable purchase. When you get it home, you’ll be more than satisfied. I put it next to the bathroom log. The students are eager to sign their time out and in; they take reading the clock very serious.

  53. AnonAnon

It a great little clock. The teaching design is fantastic. We’ve actually bought two (mostly because it’s silent). The only downside is that the frame is quite deep, so you have to be in front of it to read the time clearly. It hangs quite far out from the wall, which isn’t particularly attractive. It’s ideal for schools or large rooms (except you’d probably want a larger clock for those situations), but not so good for smaller rooms where you look at it from an angle.

  54. Amazon Customer

This one is a perfect size for an average room for a child. 12 inch clock was way too big.

  55. StJohnny22

Was a great clock while it worked, fresh batteries after the initial set and it does what most cheap clocks do after a while where the second hand hangs up and never advances. Well keep it for showing and learning but wouldn’t recommend it for time keeping

  56. Amazon Customer

    It’s a beautiful product

  57. JoshyJoshy

  58. Kris Karczewski

It was a gift and he seemed very excited

  59. Matou

Does the job but bit cheap looking

  60. Dawn Ciancaglini

I liked the idea of this clock, but it is pretty small. In order for you to be able to use it as a teaching tool, you need to be very close to it, so hanging it on the wall isn’t really an option.

  61. Kayla Schultz

This is a wonderful product! I only wish it was a tiny bit bigger so that the kids can see it clearly across the room.

  62. Michelle C

This had held up great and I love how it makes explaining things very clear.

  63. Amanda Griesmeyer

We used this in our homeschool room and the kids were drawn to it and picked up the clothes crept pretty quickly, they love being able to tell the time. They are 4 & 5

  64. Michelle

This watch looked like paper taped on the clock. The quality is terrible and it has completely stopped working. Very expensive for what it is

  65. Linda

Great for learning. We promised a watch when kiddos learn to tell time!

  66. Geoffrey J.

Doesn’t keep time! After anywhere from a day to a week it will lose at least half an hour and start telling the incorrect time. Looks nice and is quiet, but telling the correct time is kind of an essential function for a clock. Unfortunately it didn’t start failing until the returns window had closed.

  67. Amazon Customer

My 6 year old loves this clock. He is so excited to learn how to tell time. Each night, he tried to tell me what time it is, and mostly gets it right. Fantastic clock!! I’ll be buying another for my other child.

  68. andrea watson

Makes it easy for kids to tell time

  69. Shane

worth the money, the kids liked this.

  70. Crissy ann cumbee

The clock is very easy to read and see the all numbers on the clock. My kids were able tell time on this clock easily. We had a clock with Roman numerals and they hated it and could only tell the hour on it. With this clock, it’s so much easier for them to read and understand. My oldest daughter is high functioning Autistic and has always struggled with analog clocks. This clock is a great help for her. I would suggest this for any parent in that situation or just trying to teach your kids to read a clock.

  71. 64jjdragon

I have this clock in my modified classroom. It is such a game changer for my students. In addition to the wall clock, you can purchase the OWLCONIC time game. It comes with two dry erase clock boards ( and more) that help that are exactly like the wall clock and the students are able to move the hands. Such a wonderful manipulative tool for the classroom.

  74. EvaEva

Easy to use, especially for those beginners with time tellingI would buy this again for a gift!Looks great in the room

  75. D&M

Sensory sensitive son loves it. Easy to read and learn to tell time. Quiet. Color-coding is a plus. Comes in a cute box.

  76. Destroyess

Love it! My daughter can tell Time now. Totally worth it

  77. Steph

Awesome product for kids learning to tell time, my 8yr old loves and and has shown improvement

  78. Agranee G.

Loud and fast ticking sound . Very annoying. Most likely ticking started after few months

  79. EGK

just received this so can’t speak to long term accuracy or durability but I really like it. The colors contrast enough to be easily visible and fun but they’re a bit muted which makes it easier for me, as a parent, to look at in our dining room; for kids this is interesting without being too loud a visual. It doesn’t feel super heavy-duty but it’s a clock, it stays untouched on a wall, that’s ok… For the price and the slightly retro font/very pleasant design it’s a great buy!

Our kids are learning how to tell time and we’re also working on our routine and felt a clock would help them figure out when things happen and how long they last and so on. I looked at a lot of clocks and decided on this one because I like that the hour and minute hand are labeled, that the minutes are clearly marked but the five-minute increments emphasized, and that the quarters are not only labeled with helpful language but demarcated by color. The clock only takes one AA battery and is easy to set with the little red wheel on the back. It’s small-ish (see pencil for scale) but easy to read. It’s lightweight but feels sturdy, not cheap. See the back photo here where you can spot the little hole for hanging it on a nail or screw. I don’t notice any sound at all from it but our house is a bit noisy. The kids were really excited to see it and are finding it easy to read (we hung it at their eye-level and made a big fuss about how it’s “their clock”!), and we adults are valuing it since it gets our kids learning and relying on themselves instead of constantly asking us what time it is or when lunch is coming. (We paired it with a printed-out daily routine schedule, so they can check to see when things happen.)

  81. Quen

Excellent teaching tool and cute room decor

  82. kirstin cattell

I bought this for my 2nd grade son who hasn’t been much interested in learning to tell time due to all the digital clocks we have around the house. This clock is really well done with everything being labeled so now he can pretty much teach himself to tell time and because it’s “his clock” he is very excited about checking it whenever I ask him what time it is (which I now do all the time). Super stoked with this purchase.

  83. Mrs S

This is a cute clock that will help students tell time to the quarter hour. I plan to put this clock at their eye level so they can read the wording like “a quarter after” and “half past.” I think this will help with this skill.

  84. Bonita

Great clock for teaching time. My grandson uses it to help him with his homework on time. He’s getting the hang of it

  85. Grace Manney

It was exactly as shown. I think it will be a big help for my granddaughter in learning how to tell time.

  86. iLadyJedi

Nice clock for my 4-year old

  87. Kate Barkauskas

This has helped my 8 year old understand how a clock works. I love this idea, shows children what the “little hand” does & the “big hand”.

  88. paulette

this is a great teaching tool for my 3rd grader.

  89. DS

Put this in my sons room to help tell time. We really enjoy it. It is quiet. And we like the color coding to make things a tad easier

  90. me

This clock is exactly as advertised. My young grandchildren need to understand analog clocks. This one is perfect.

  91. Cihat

i search lots of clocks in turkey. but none of them silent and high qulaity. if you use in child bedroom silence is must. ? boought amazon us. thanks for tihs beatiful perfect clock.

  92. John

This thing is cheap. The clock mechanism is something from the dollar store. Cheap plastic. Not what it suggests from the listing and the price tag. Not at all worth $60!!

  93. Danielle

I am currently teaching my 2nd grader how to tell time. This clock has everything I was looking for. I purchased the game to go along with it and plan on purchasing the watch, too.

  94. KMJ

After a week of purchasing it, my kid is finally reading a clock!

  95. CJGibbs

I liked how everything was labeled on the clock. The clock is being used at a sixth through eighth grade middle school.

  96. mh52761

Overall, this product is great. The only comment I have is that the small numbers that help with the skip counting should color coordinate to the “quarter of the hour” it belongs to.

  97. David R Cox

Great for teaching children how to tell time. Unfortunately, it only lasted 14 months. Of course I installed fresh batteries and even tried adjusting the time in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions and nothing got the clock moving on its own again. Sad.

  98. Della Baker

Has all the time measurements you need. Sturdy and large enough to read.

  99. Chachou C.

I have this clock for a while know and it works great wish it have the option to light up at night time

  100. Sound God

Great product and want we expected to

  101. Junior’s mom

Really nice clock. My sin is learning to read time and this wirks perfectly =)

  102. Alixzandra

Disappointed with how small it is. I ordered the large size….still really small. I have to place it lower on the wall in order for my kiddos to be able to read the details on the face.Cute clock. Wish it were bigger.

  103. Felisha Martin

I got this for my 3rd grade classroom. It is so nice for my students to be able to tell what time it is. I didn’t want to get a digital clock. This was the perfect solution to help my class learn how to read an analog clock.

  104. Megan

I enjoy this clock. My only complaint is that it says quarter to, because we say a quarter til. My 5-year-old son was super excited when he received this clock. He’s been very interested in learning to tell time. He enjoys reading it with me and it seems like he will be able to do it on his own very soon. Easy to read, it seems accurate, and it’s very quiet. I can’t hear it at all. Overall great purchase, my son even kept the box and plays with it 🙂

  105. jlhamster

This clock is perfect for any classroom or home to teach the concept of time. We are enjoying it so far.

  106. Dee

Quiet, good for teaching how to read a clock.

  107. Sarah Fasel

Awesome clock for teaching kids how to tell time.

  108. Edgar Vargas

Reloj silencioso ideal para que los niños aprendan a identificar la hora, sin embargo los colores no son tan nítidos, lo que termina dando una apariencia como de baja calidad.

  109. Wayan Sudartha

The smooth sweeping second hand is satsifying to look at.Colours and layout are great however I was so distracted by it that I failed to notice that the hour and minute hands are the same colour and almost the same length making it difficult for a child (even an adult) to read the time efficiently. Therefore this has been a regrettable purchase but I’ll keep it for now and perhaps mount it at eye level to make it easier to read.

  110. Amazon Customer

The clock is great for teaching my son how to tell time. The layout and format is easy for him to follow. I recommend this product for anyone teaching little ones how to tell time. One suggestion would be to add chimes or sounds at the hour mark.

  111. bluecanoe

I love that the hands are labeled and that the second hand is a smooth sweep!

  112. Warm lights

Great teaching tool. I look forward to giving this to my granddaughter at Xmas.

  113. Lara

This clock has been on my wishlist for a while and one sweet family had it sent to me this year! As soon as I brought it into the classroom the kids noticed it was different than our old clock, and had kids of questions on each part. By the end of the morning, we were counting by 5’s, measuring how long we could stand on one leg, and identifying minute/hour hand. I didn’t realize how much it would help to have the words on the hands, but it was a dream teaching time skills!

  114. Amazon Customer

My kids watch this clock! They absolutely love it! Very glad I got this for our homeschool room??

  115. Melissa Keys Hardesty

My son has been struggling with telling time so I bought him this clock to help him practice. It is great!! Perfect teaching tool as the numbers are easy to read. Also love the silent tick so it can stay in his room at night without disturbing him.

  116. Donna Hayslett

The second hand was loose so I had to unscrew the cover and put it back in. Not a real big deal, but the screws are tiny.

  117. R. Wood

Just a good quality clock. It’s plastic and light, but the quality is still really good. The seconds hand moves smoothly. Easy to read numbers and visually appealing with a very simple, informative and clean modern look. It’s a timeless styled clock 😉

  118. Penney

My daughter has learned to tell time quickly with this clock. Perfect for any child having difficulty or just learning. A must have

  119. Amanda Cheek

Very easy for a child to read time

  120. Shelia Bartley

I needed an easy, user friendly tool to help me teach my Grandaughter to read analog clocks!! This clock is amazing. Everything you could possibly n Ed is labeled. A child struggling with this concept could almost teach themselves!! Super pleased with this purchase!

  121. Leah

    Perfect clock for teaching time.

  122. Ashley Pannell

    Good teaching tool

  123. kala Moore

  124. M-dub

Smooth, quiet, and easy on the eyes. If it were glow in the dark, then it would be flawless!

  125. Robin F

The hands don’t move…wrong time all of the time. So disappointing!

  126. riaz shaik

It’s good to teach kids but quality is not worth the money

  127. ryan

Works great I have no issue with this clock

  128. Oceanwavekid

So cute and I love it

  129. Rozann

It was purchased for an elementary school teacher. She said it is exactly what she needs to teach her students.

  130. Joyce

The 6 and 8 year old grandkids love it in their roo..

  131. Cheryl Hennessy

My grandson loves this clock and loves spending time learning with it.

  132. Tucker

Excellent clock. We’ve hung ours in the kitchen and my 6 year old loves practicing telling time.

  133. amanda zamanda z

Great clock to teach my son to tell time. He learned in 2 days with this

  134. fan wang

This clock was OK at the beginning. But I noticed a few months later that the time it displays is behind the actual time. The battery I put in is a brand new one. As of today, it is 2.5 hours behind. Not recommend.

  135. Charlie

    it’s good as described.

  136. Sanam Shaikh

Coz of its small size its hard to read.. so its just piece of colorful clock nothing more than that

  137. Deveka Bhardwaj

A complete hit for my struggling 1st grader!! In first 10 mins of activating this clock, I have a time reader in the house. He is soooo proud of himself and I am so relieved because he was feeling bad. The labels on this clock really help deliver the concept of reading a clock. ???? I highly recommend this clock!!!

  138. Jeremiah Wilson

This is perfect for kids still learning or having trouble telling time. I know my kids are always asking what time it is and this product has basically resolved that. It goes with just about any decor and is an absolute must for me. Clock is silent, and keeps the time Pretty spot on.

  139. Monica Chestnut

I was able to give an in-depth, visually pleasing and hands on lesson in time telling to my 3rd and 5th grader. I wanted to be able to explain all the different phrases to the like “a quarter past, half past and a quarter to”. This clock helped drive those points home. It also helps with the correlation to fractions and seeing the seconds, minutes and hours as a whole but also breaking them into to fractions. The color coded sections really help with explaining those.Oh and did I mention it’s an actually functioning clock! Great but…all kids should have this clock at home and in the classroom.

  140. snoodle

This clock is great. My son is 7 and would get confused by analog clocks. It’s a skill that kids aren’t learning these days. It has also helped my son get ready in the morning. My son used to take forever to get ready for school. We were always running late and I was always nagging him. I made him a morning check list and I give him the time we have to leave by and now he’s (mostly) always ready to go on time.

  141. Debbie E.

Our grands sleep over weekly. The rule is they can wake us up at 7. The digitock was fancy but never worked to help the girls. They requested a wall clock saying they had one at home. I bought this one based on ratings. Turns out it’s the exact one they have at home which delighted them. They stayed in their room (apart from potty breaks of course) the very next time they stayed over! No more 6 o’clock wake ups!! Added bonus is learning analog. Highly recommend! Completely silent.

Looks great on the playroom wall, could maybe be slightly larger as you have to be pretty up close to see the smaller print like a child who is learning to tell time would need to be

  143. Carolyn C

I have this clock in my classroom. I was disappointed because it is smaller than expected. It really should be a 12 inch clock. I would say most of my students cannot read it from their desks, which is very disappointing.

  144. Zoe Powell

This is a great clock for my 8yo whose struggling to learn how to tell time. Good quality and super quiet.

  145. KatieKatie

Very nice clock, especially for the price.I needed a click for my 2 year old son’s room, but I wanted one that wasn’t babyish or too grown up. This one will be a learning tool in the future. Other teaching clocks were way too busy-looking. This one is just right.

  146. Mindy

My students wanted to let you know their favorite features: They give it five stars for the labeled minute and hour hands. The smooth running second hand is also a favorite feature. They like how the hours and minutes are written on the clock face, and that it is broken up into different colored 15 minute sections. They feel this clock makes it much easier to tell time on an analog clock. They also loved the colors on the clock proper, and the silver frame. I have never seen a group of children so excited about getting a new clock! I agree with all they said and will definitely recommend this clock to anyone using a clock with children.

  147. NYCookie

My 2nd Grader started his time telling unit in Math a couple months ago and I ordered this to help him understand time better, but also be able to read time better. It was a huge help and he’s doing very well with reading the time. I would definitely recommend to others.Thought the packaging was a bit damaged, the product was not. Shipped on time and arrived promptly.

  148. TC90

EXACTLY what I wanted! My son was having a lot of trouble reading analog clocks but this helped him tremendously. Very very happy with purchase

  149. Francesco

So many of our kids don’t know how to read an analog clock. This is why I bought this one and put it up in my office playroom, after 35 years of having to read my wall clock for my little clients. It’s sparked their curiosity and their desire to learn to tell time. I recommend it to parents, educators, etc.

Good size clock to help tell time. Colors and colored minuet numbers help out. My daughter started to quickly tell time. Just needed practice and a little nudge and is starting to understand how to read a clock. Will suggest to others.Adjustment wheel is common but is partially blocked making it difficult to use clock as a study reference. It would be nice to have the colors match each quarter.

  151. Jackie

This clock is well put together for learning to tell the time. I wish it illuminated at night. Otherwise it is what I was looking for.

  152. Amara

I purchased this clock for our homeschool classroom. I couldn’t be happier with it! It’s color coded into quarters. The numbers and letters are large, making the hours, minutes, and “quarter-past”/“quarter-to” markings easy to read. The second hand moves in a smooth/fluid motion, as opposed to a choppy motion that ticks every second. For little ones learning to tell time (or needing a fun visual way to learn multiplication tables or fractions), this clock is a must!

    Broke within a month.

Pas de super qualité pour le prix mais facile à lire pour les enfants et pas de bruit

I wanted my 5 year old grandson to be able to tell time on a real clock and understand how it works. This makes it so easy. He has a digital one by his bed but I wanted him to understand the relationship to time. Each hand on this colorful clock spells it out and he can read it and is so proud of himself when it matches what the analog says! Just what I was looking for when I was searching……

  160. Michelle

Forget the kids, I love this clock for myself! We added it to our eating/kitchen area and I find I like looking at this clock better than the fancy clock in the kitchen. I’ve always had problems when people say “half past” or “quarter to”- I just want the exact time not to do a word problem in my head- But this has it shown so visually that I finally started understanding the concept- at 46 years old! 🙂 I wish I had this when I was a kid, I still remember having such a hard time with this concept as a kid- even today I have residual fall out, maybe that is why I love looking at this clock! We put it at eye level for our kids so when they ask for the millionth time if their Zoom meeting has started I can tell them to look at the clock- before with our pretty kitchen clock they couldn’t tell but now they can so that helps a tiny bit with the “What time is it” fun game when I’m trying to drink my reheated coffee before it goes cold again. In fact, we haven’t really done any formal teaching with the clock yet but the kids have been picking it up just by looking at it throughout the day. Score, I can’t imagine what will happen when we actually teach them and use the corresponding game too!I love the colors showing all the segments and time concepts, I’m such a visual person so I’m super happy I finally gave in and got this. I wish all clocks were made to be this easy and fun to read.

  161. Mami Tolbert

It would be better if it were a little bigger. I put the clock on the wall and can’t really see the numbers from a few feet away. The purpose of this clock is to be educational, but only if you’re close enough to actually see the details of the clock. For a child who doesn’t know how to read a clock yet, it would really be helpful for the clock to be bigger.Other than that, the clock is very cute without being cheesy. It was super easy to hang and not heavy in case you’re planning to hang it in a child’s room.

  162. Dee

This clock worked fine, but one day fell off the wall from four feet onto a carpeted floor. The frame broke, and the clock will no longer work. In retrospect, the clock is too expensive for how cheaply it seems to be made.

  163. princess

I really like this clock as a tool to teach my children how to tell time.It seems a little flimsy but overall I like the style my kids love it.

  164. H. Thompson

Perfect clock for my son who is learning to tell time. It was just a little smaller than I expected and compared to the wall clock that I purchased from my daughter.

  165. A shopper from Sydney

A very good clock for children to read. The seconds arm is continuous, no ticking noise. The only downside is probable the price, which is a little expensive.

  166. Mom

I DO NOT LIKE THAT I RECEIVED AN OPEN PRODUCT. THE STYROFOAM WAS BROKEN AND THE PRODUCT WAS OUT OF THE PLASTIC WRAP THAT WAS STUFFED IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BOX. I ORDERED AND PAID FOR A NEW PRODUCT, NOT A USED ONE. I WILL RETURN!

  167. TabsTabs

Easy to read, very good to make my son learn to read time on analogue clock

  168. Doctyphoon

After researching the different options, I got this clock for the bedroom our 4yo granddaughter naps in, with the hope that it would stimulate her interest in learning to tell time. Bingo! Today she asked me to show her where the hands would be to indicate 3:30, the time after which she is allowed to get up. It’s a start! The bright colors and the movement of the second hand seem to attract her attention. Well done!

  169. Anonymous

It’s a very useful tool and my son loves it. Not as substantial as I would prefer, but it it is completely silent and works well.

  170. emily seetonemily seeton

I set up my son an area for at home learning and since he is learning how to tell time I figured this would be a grear add on to his desk area, he loves it and is doing great with learning how to tell time. Its definitely easy to read.

  171. Hannah

Not something I would use as a gift, but my kids have found this really helpful as they are learning to read clocks.

  172. Jen_Jackson

my 7-year-old was still struggling a little bit with telling time from an analog clock. She just glances at this clock and reads it immediately! My 4-year-old is getting the hang of it too. There are similar clogs out there but I didn’t like the military time on some of the clocks. For our family and in my opinion, having military time on the clock just adds more numbers and possible confusion! The second hand just collides along silently. And is quite pretty! I want to find an alarm clock from them to put in the girls’ room

  173. Maeve Whelan

The clock was an Xmas gift for my grandson and it should have been in a box. It arrived in the original box with address labels and stickers , none of which are removable without tearing. Also a little battered. Especially with kids toys at this time of year, Santa is big and therefore we try to hide our Santa gifts not display them on the door….disappointed.

  174. Katie

DO NOT BUY THIS CLOCK. We have had it for 6 months and it does not keep time. We’ve replaced the battery twice and within a week it stops telling the correct time. It is also not made of sturdy plastic. My son took it off the wall to look at it more closely and the grey frame cracked. It is a total waste of money.

  175. Mohan Manuru

    Easy to read

  176. Ang S.Ang S.

What a great idea! My son and I absolutely liberty this clock and it’s been a huge help in teaching him to tell time. I’d recommend them to anybody helping a child learn.

Stopped working after a couple of months. Replaced battery, and stopped working after a few hours. How do I get a return/Refund?

  178. Sarah CSarah C

Love the detail. We keep it on the easel so my kids can use it for their homework assignments learning how to tell time. It’s easy to read, even the minute and hour hands are labeled. I like that it includes the second hand as well. The numbers are big and the colors bright. It has helped my kids understand why 8:55 is almost 9 o’clock and not only or 8 o’clock or still 8 o’clock. That concept was especially tricky for my daughter but this clock helped her see and make sense of it.

  179. Lourdes

The face is a bit busy with a lot of information. Need to work with my son to explain all the detail. Takes a little more work but worth the effort.

  180. Andrea Salazar

I bought this for my kid, very excited when I received it, but it doesn’t work. The design looks great, but the quality of the machine is not, it stopped working after a few seconds I inserted the battery.

  181. AriNicole

This is the clock I didn’t know we needed! My daughter started distance learning this year and she needs to be much more aware of the time to get to her meetings on time. Not only is this an excellent teaching clock, it’s also completely silent! Some clocks have a loud “tick-tick-tick”-ing second hand, but this is silent and perfect for being near her learning space with no distraction.

  182. C. HoustonC. Houston

This is the best clock ever! It definitely makes the homeschool space! It has helped my 13 year old understand time!

  183. Julya ReynoldsJulya Reynolds

We just received this clock about a week ago and my daughter is already making strides in learning time and the time difference between two times (for setting a timer for distance learning). It’s super cute, fun colors, and very easy to read, a great addition to our new student space. We really like how it’s broken down by quarters, all the way down to individual minutes/seconds. Great clock for kiddos learning to tell time.

  184. CKHuffmanCKHuffman

Does what its supposed to do. Hope it will help keep kids on track and help them tell time.

  185. Kimberly

My 6 year old was struggling with telling time. I tried drawing clocks and watching countless YouTube videos all which lead to nothing but confusion and frustration from both of us. I was desperate to help him Well with this clock in his hands and some instruction he was correctly and confidently telling time in less than an hour!!! The clock is very detailed and labeled with hour hand minute hand etc… My child teacher was even impressed with it!!! I didn’t put batteries in it yet so that we can manually adjust to practice with it. I also liked how big it is. It isn’t massive but bigger than the other tiny 4 inch clocks seen elsewhere. I highly recommend this clock for kids learning to tell time.

  186. Heather Fugitt

It look like I supposed to get the time game with this clock

  187. Bobbi

Broken when I go it. Very disappointing

  188. Michael H

Was excited to teach my boys how to read a clock. Unfortunately the unit I received had issues with the ‘seconds’ hand. It moves forward and the pauses and does a little dance before it moves forward or get stuck.

  189. Hello MonicaChaparraHello MonicaChaparra

We received the clock yesterday and I think is perfect for my 6 year old. That is why I bough this product because is easy to read . He is confused about the minute hand but I told him he will get it in no time. ??

  190. Jennifer

Doesn’t work for more than 1 day. Constantly having to mess with it and reset it.

  191. Jen E

We purchased this for our 2nd grader’s remote learning area, even though he generally knows how to tell time, just to make his knowledge more solid, since he has two younger siblings that are in his room that could also learn from it and are fascinated with all things “time”. I can’t say enough good things! I mean, yes, first, it works wonderfully. Most importantly, though, it is designed even better than I could hope for, as far as really solidifying how time works, what all the time phrases mean, how time is counted – it’s fantastic. My son loves it, and we have had a ton of compliments on it (from those first day of “school” pictures!). We most likely will be buying another one for our playroom. Highly recommend!

  192. Mukesh Arora

    Good for learning

  193. Consumer Bee

Bought it to replace kitchen clock over the sink that no longer worked. I thought might as well use it to teach grandson to tell time. It is great teaching tool, BUT sort of hard to see at a distance of 7 or 10 feet.

  194. Lauren

Good clock but noisy and already stopped working and had to replace battery, only a few months old

  195. PebblekeeperPebblekeeper

I have purchased three of these clocks for different classrooms from grades K-8th. Last year I paired the clock with a large digital readout for part of the year for them to see the two images next to each other. Last year was the first year I did not hear the question, “What time is it?”. Several of my students came to class with new analog watches after the winter holiday season. We purchased one clock that the hands stuck after about 3 weeks. I emailed the company and they sent a new clock right away, really easy to work with and their shipping was received within a week. As I continue to move classrooms – I’ll continue to purchase this clock. If you are new to homeschooling, I’d recommend this clock as well.On an education aspect, the clock shows quarter hours, 5-minute increments, and minutes. The hands have Hour and Minute written on them. It was a delight to hear a struggling student say, It’s a quarter past one – by looking at the clock.

  196. L.IL.I

Loving the product so far. Son just started first grade so we’re starting off with the basics. I love that as he continues to learn we can go more into detail and refer to the clock as needed. It was a great addition to his virtual learning desk area.

  197. LindseyLindsey

Love this clock! We have it up in our 2nd grader and preschooler’s play room. It makes teaching time so much easier. The hour and minute hands are marked, and so are quarter past and half past. It also has a 5 next to the one and 10 next to the two etc, showing the correlation. This is exactly what I was looking for.

  198. Adam G

Lense is plastic and seems to flex/sag over time.

  199. Crystal Crystal

No complaints, it’s exactly as described and easy to use.

  200. JPJP

Looks good and works well without making any noise ??

  201. Christine Arden

This clock is amazing! Not only does it have all the time details but colors are wonderful, it is light weight, and it is totally silent…no tick tick tock noise. Perfect for a home school room (or remote learning school room) but attractive enough to hang anywhere in the house. Came in perfect condition but included instructions about what to do if there was an issue as well as how to activate the warranty. Very very happy with this product!

  202. Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer

This clock is perfect for my 7 and 4 year old. So easy for them to differentiate the hour vs minute hands. Is the perfect addition to our homeschool classroom.

  203. ChrisD

    My son understands time now

  204. Trojanchick

This clock is running slow no matter how many batteries you change. You can teach your kids the time, it will just be the wrong time.

  205. Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer

We absolutely love this clock. We actually purchased two to start our family out. We did not realize that our kids can’t tell time or feel the concept of time. They really were struggling to understand how long activities take and how to transition between them. These clocks paired with an amazing crash course on Executive function from Ryan Wexelblatt are what we use to help our ADHD kids feel time.

  206. D SchirenD Schiren

This is a great learning clock for my rising kindergarteners! Easy to read and works well!I love that every minute is written on it to helpWe’ve been practicing with a toy clock and this will help them grasp the concept in their little minds! ?????

  207. HamishHamish

Using it in our homeschooling room and it’s loved. So easy to read, labels are bright and well labeled. My son uses it as a reference when telling the time and completing time problems.

  208. W. LiW. Li

Saw two dirt spots on the clock face when it arrived. It’s inside the face so hard to get rid of. The look of the clock is good

  209. Jeanne

I feel that the colors in the middle which displays quarter past, half past, etc., should match the numbers around the clock. To me it would make a lot more sense if it did match and I would think it will make the kids understand it a lot easier. For that I had to take off one star. Overall it’s a nice clock for kids learning to tell time.

  210. Educator’sRock

I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet. However, I did put batteries in, set the time, and made sure it worked. I bought it for my classroom; unfortunately, we are out for the summer and I’m not sure when and how the next school year will be. The clock is beautiful, quite, and a nice size for viewing from a distance.

  211. ginni b.ginni b.

This is a wonderful teaching tool. My 4-year-old son was so excited and intrigued. It made it so much clearer for him to understand and so much easier for me to explain. I would definitely say this clock is worth the money spent to visually enable my child to see how time works.

  212. Tyler

My kiddo struggles with time management (which he gets from me). Took him all of 30 seconds to get a handle on how to read the analog clock with the additional number breakdown (he’s 7), and though he double checks it often when quizzed, I know it’s just a matter of practice and habit at this point for him to understand without assistance. Great clock, and he himself said it was very helpful for him to understand.

  213. sr

Its a nice looking clock, and a good idea, but did not last. After about a yr and a half the clock stoped working even after numerous battery replacements. Will just try something cheap from T****T.

  214. Anon A Muss

Not a BAD product; but colors could be more vibrant for little kids. And clock hands could be easier to distinguish.

  215. Maria

The clock looks just like it’s shown. The colors are bright and the writing (hour, half past..etc) is visible and readable. I’m giving it 3 stars because it is lightweight plastic. If I would have seen and held this in a store, I would have wanted to pay half of the $25 that I spent on it.

  216. SSK

It would be better if it was bigger. It’s too small to hang high on the wall for kids to read. It’s a normal size clock, but for kids to see it, it should be bigger.

  217. Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer

The clock is great for kids. Easy to read, uncluttered face. The only negative is that the glare on the plastic face cover is REALLY BAD. The clock is unreadable from certain angles which is very inconvenient.

  218. Ashlli WalkerAshlli Walker

Great addition to our homeschool. Easy to read and follow. The colors make it easy for children at all levels to identify the parts of time and to be able to tell time. Would buy again.

  219. B.

I hate tick-tock. I can hear it in the other room. Having a silent sweep is great and my daughter gets to learn time as well. Some of the writing is rather small (ie “hour” and “minute” on the respective hands) but if you’re close enough, you can see it. Things are tiny to be tidy, but neat so easily-read. I keep this clock close to where my daughter sits so she can read time easily. So far, she’s getting it and I think it’s because the clock is so well-laid out. Thanks, you guys!

  220. APSc

My son was having a hard time learning how to tell time on an analog clock so I found this clock on Amazon. I love that it has the minute increments labelled, divides the hour into quarters with colors, and has the minute/hour hands labelled. After only a few days of having this in his room, he can easily tell what time it is.It keeps time well. No ticking sounds, which I like as it could be annoying for some kids if it’s in their bedroom. This is a keeper for helping children learn to tell time.

  221. RitaMae Brackin

My youngest (3 yrs. old) tries their best to say the time even without my help, when I first put it up. My oldest ( 5 yrs. old) loves learning how to read it, it’s definitely the seconds hand and minutes they’ll both need to get used to.I’ve made it my goal, even though I’m not into being a teacher, that I will exert energy and time to making my children learn at home as well.

  222. Lyone Conner

My six year old had already been learning time, but this clock helped him to understand the five minute intervals as well as the single minute process of time. We mounted the clock low on his wall, because when he asks us what time it is, we tell him to check his clock, and he likes to take it off the wall and bring it to us to discuss what he’s seeing. Though we haven’t arrived to it yet, there is also additional writing on the clock to help the user understand the quarter hour. The colors are intentionally set to make sense of the different elements (seconds, minutes, hours), and it really is a great teaching tool.

  223. Ddun ddun ddun

This clock doesn’t work. The hands are improperly spaced; every so often the second hand catches on the other hands and drags it to a stop.. So poorly designed. It’s hard to find a working clock for my kids!

  224. Joshua Stephens

My 3 year old is an early riser and does not always observe family times. We found this one because it was visually appealing and has clearly labeled time markers. He was so excited to get it up on the wall, and make this a part of his room. I knew this was a hit when his younger brother noticed it on the wall.I figured when he reads soon that he will get to learn the clock.

  225. P. P.

Been trying to get my son interested in reading (anything) for years. He is actually paying attention to this clock! It’s a bit flimsy, so giving it a 4 because I doubt it will last a decade.

  226. ACPACP

It was really great in helping my child tell timw

  227. Mom of 1

This clock has really helped my 6yo read a clock. She can look at it and tell me what time it is. It’s really awesome to watch.

  228. Linda

This clock is the best teaching clock I have found. I wanted something to help teach my first grader. This one labels everything you would want !!! My kid loves it. The clock is made of all light plastic, came intact with no damage. Should be easy to hang on a wall. We haven’t done that yet because my son likes holing it when we are working on lessons on learning to read it. Great product for teaching !!!

  229. Rebecca MB

The clock arrived quickly, and it runs great. I’ve put it on the wall in my child’s room, and when we work on telling time, this helps because of the details on the clock. The minutes are all labeled; the hands are marked, the quarters, and so on. And no audible tick-tock! I do recommend this to others looking for a working visual aid to help their child learn to tell time.

  230. “uri-els_legion”

Suggestions: Display the “HOUR” and “MINUTE” hands with the words written the long way down to the end of the hands (thus the words would not be upside down half of the time (~pun, there) and would look more uniform. They could be written bigger too! -And how about adding “SECOND” to the third hand (making it slightly bigger in size, too? to fit the words) -just for teaching purposes (another pun, there). *Color pattern doesn’t seem to have any reasoning other than just being colorful(~) is it a dark to light pattern? How about adding 15- 10- and 5- ‘to/till’ (+ the same and ‘after’)?

  231. Deanna Lenfest

I really like these products from this company. Good quality.

  232. WAMom

I purchased this clock to use in my 3rd grade classroom. I wanted to cover my digital clock and force my students to learn how to read an analog clock. I think it could be a little larger to be able to read from across the classroom, but it is otherwise great. It helps my visual learners practice reading the clock all day :)I would definitely purchase again for my students!

  233. Esther Lee

I just got this in a school order and am very excited to use it with the kids. The numbers are all very clear! The only drawback is I need a screwdriver to put the battery in, so currently, it is sitting on my desk waiting for me to find one.

  234. Kevin&Ghazal Hoffman

This is a great clock, we purchased one a little over a year ago and it has been great helping our daughter learn to tell time. It is still ticking along just fine after a year, and now we just purchased a second one for her younger sister’s room. The main benefit is the fact that the minutes are numbered, but also a big plus is the fact that the second hand moves in a constant, smooth motion, rather than sudden jumps each second (it doesn’t tick – it is silent). Great clock!

  235. Anisha Chollangi Anisha Chollangi

One of the best wall clock. My 5 year old son loved it and started telling the time immediately. So easy learning for kids. Colors are vibrant too

  236. Edward Reinhardt

Great clock to learn how to tell time. I use this clock to help my son with solving elapsed time math problems. My one wish his that it was a little easier to turn the minute hand. Other then that, it’s a great product!

Is just perfect, easy to read not just for me but also for my little one. Glad that they upgraded the back of the battery with an extra protection (before the battery was exposed).Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommended to all parents or teachers that are looking for a more educated clock for the little ones.

  242. PV

It worked wonderfully for about 11 months then the second hand became stuck and rendered the clock useless.

  243. Kelsey Ruiz

We bought this for our 4 year old to try and help him understand time when getting ready for school in the morning. It has been great so far! He is starting to understand that when the minute hand gets to a certain color that means it is time to start getting ready to get out the door. This has given him some “freedom” and has allowed me to lower the amount of nagging I have to do to get him out the door. It is super easy to read, too and he has already started to learn how to tell the actual time.

  244. Lana Lanning Finley

    great clock for teaching

  245. eg

I used this clock for a photo shoot, it served its purpose for me. If you want a working clock, this is probably not the best product, as mine never did work.

  246. DES

I’m very surprised at the good reviews because this clock is made so cheaply, thin plastic. And way too over priced for what it actually is.

  247. MandiMandi

This clock is absolutely perfect in my little homeschool classroom. The colors, and labeling of the clock has made is as stress-free as possible whole teaching my kids how to tell time. I would recommend this clock to anyone!

Great clock. My child loves it.

My clock didn’t work and it is broken.

  250. CbobbittCbobbitt

Have it hanging in my homeschooling area and I LOVE IT. It’s fun and colorful and great for learning to tell time

  251. KenKen

So it is a little bit smaller than I immediately imagined. BUT it’s actually perfect for the place my daughter wanted it. It’s VERY cool and I highly recommend. I’m a clock (watch) person myself so this helps with quotes and every single hour, half hour, quarter till, half past. And has a constant rotation of the second hand instead of the tick which I am very much in love with!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!!

I see in the Q&A that the design is intentional, for visual interest. But sacrificing consistency for visual interest doesn’t make sense for an educational tool. Other than that, good clock.Signed, professional educator of 20 years.

I love the way the clock is set up. It’s really helpful for students and I absolutely love it for my class. The only reason why I gave a 3 stars was that it’s not big enough to see from far away. If you put it up in a classroom the print is small.

  254. Laura Ferrell

It doesn’t hang flat on the wall. The plastic over the face of the clock is scratched.

  255. Jason H. Kaiser

This clock didn’t work. Owing to a lot of other things going on, we didn’t open it right away, and by the time I got around to dealing with it it was too late to return it. It will work for about 30 seconds after I put the battery in.

  256. Cojocariu Diana – Maria

Very nice easy way to learn watch. I think it only needs a table stand as well so it could be more handy for kids.

I bought this clock for my 6 yo. son after wasting time and money on many other popular learning device on the market to teach kids how to read the time. This clock is not only a colorful addition to his room, but has taught him to read the time in a few days! He loves to read the clock now several times a day and is even starting to read the time at our home clock with Roman numerals. Amazing how quickly and easily kids can learn with the right tools- he feels so proud of himself. I would recommend this clock to any eager little learner. Thank you OWLCONIC for designing and producing this excellent learning tool!

  258. Fran HarveyFran Harvey

The clock is colorful and literally everything you would want on a clock for teaching time is included. It’s a bit smaller at 10 in. than I would like but it went perfectly on my bulletin board. I would highly recommend this clock.

  259. writeseth

When my students ask me what time it is, I just point at the clock. They get kind of mad sometimes, but now they all can read the clock. I bought it because I was highly concerned that none of my students could read an analog clock. With a few lessons, they grasped it very quickly with this clock. They still prefer digital but at least I can go to my grave knowing they mastered reading a clock.

  260. Kevin N

Could just be mine but the clock stopped working after 6 months.

  261. marie g. connine

Numbers 1-3:00 should line up with color block related to the 15 minute increments, such as green numbers to green color block, yellow numbers to yellow color block, so on and so on. Someone didn’t think this through or this are to be considered “seconds “ or defects. What a shame ????

  262. K. Ha

My only complaint is I wish that the length of the hands on the clock was greater. They’re a little too similar for my liking.

  263. Sherry

Clock worked great for for first few months then it went haywire, just after 6 month warranty ( It was sitting in packaging for 3 months cuz we just moved). What a shame.

  264. Andrew Fleischman

I never really write reviews, but I was looking for a clock that my young kids would like and learn from.. this one is perfect! Captured their attention immediately, and the dual numbering system (1-12 AND 1-60) is clutch. I don’t think I had really ever seen it before.. I’ve since found other clocks with this feature, but this one is still my favorite. Colorful.. but slightly muted and simple / symmetrical, so not distracting. Highly recommended for anyone learning how to tell time.

  265. Georgia

NOT SILENT AT ALL. (Can you hear me shouting this?). Completely misleading advertising.

  266. Zaba

The concept is great but the colors make no sense at all for a teaching tool. You’d think each quarter would be color coded, but the manufacturer has pointed out that the colors are just for visual contrast. Each quarter should have the same color… this is confusing for kids who are learning to tell time, and often rely on color-coding for easy reference. As a second point, there’s no battery cover, so we used a piece of scotch tape to make sure the batteries stayed in place. This also was noted by the manufacturer as being how the clock was made. Poor design choices all around. We are returning this.

  267. MelissaB

My children are learning analog time. Many teaching clocks, especially “fake” teaching clocks that use a manual crank, have “missing” information. What do I mean?Other clocks: – The don’t label the hands. The eyes are supposed to discern a longer and shorter hand. Some kids with vision problems don’t make this distinction.- The don’t label the minutes, instead only identifying 5,10,15…- They don’t identify the 4 “quarters” of the clockThis clock – The hands are clearly labeled. You can’t mistake which is hand is the hour/minute hand. – All minutes are clearly and precisely labeled by number. This clock makes it easy to realize that there are 60 minutes in an hour.- They identify the quarter hour portions of the clock.- The overall clarity of the clock, in spite of being visually “busy”, makes learning and understanding what time it is easy – even for a younger student.

I am pleased with my purchase of the Kids Analogue Teaching Time Clock. I have been searching for a clock to help my child learn to tell time. This was the best clock that I have found. The clock is well labeled and easy to read. The shipping was fast. I received my package the next day. I would highly recommend this clock.

Nice clock and size. Wish the numbers lit up at night but that’s minor. Otherwise great purchase!

I bought this for my son’s room. I mostly picked it because it matched the colors in the room. When it arrived, I was really impressed. The second hand runs in a smooth continuous motion. It’s really a pleasure to watch. Overall, I’m very impressed with it and would recommend it to anyone.

  272. Raj

Nice clock.. true to its description. Wish it was little bit bigger in size.

  273. EMiller

This clock is well designed and labeled to support learning. It is very quiet and the second hand moves smoothly. It does tend to run a little slow, so it has to be adjusted every week or two as it starts to lose time. The manufacturer paid a lot more attention to the design on the front than the mechanics on the back.

  274. Jennifer K.

My kids were very excited to see this clock hanging on their homeschool room wall! It makes it so easy to teach them to tell time. Owlconic thought of everything! The hour, minute, “o”clock, quarter past, and quarter to are all printed on the clock! Every second/minute is labeled and the numbers are so easy to read because they are in a plain and simple font. The colors are cheery, yet neutral, so the clock stands out, but is not gaudy. We are really happy with this clock!

Purchased this for my grandson, age 5, who is learning to tell time. Everything about it in other reviews (positive) I agree with totally. The only thing I would change would be the size. Making a bit larger in diameter would make it easier to read from a distance. It is colorful, well designed (educationally) and appears to be well made. Completely silent is a plus. We’ve had it for over a month and have had no problems. Makes a great gift for a child and would be a good addition to a classroom setting. (Just needs to be larger in my opinion.)

We ordered this clock to teach my son how to tell time and help with his homework as they are learning how to tell time. We really like how the clock has everything numbered hours and seconds aswell is all color coded and easy to ready, the hour hand and minute hand are marked properly and easy to read. This clock has really helped my son learn how to read time. It’s quite and only requires one double A battery. Great purchase and the quality is great.

This is such a great purchase for any kids room or classroom!! I’m planning on getting one for my child’s second grade teacher next year. My daughter is 6 1/2 and in first grade and within the 1st week of having this clock in her room she understood the concept of clocks and can tell time on any clock!!! It’s sturdy and stylish too!

  280. sharrellsharrell

I’m a special education and the kids LOVE my new clock! It’s a great teaching tool. I love the colors, labels, and how it’s divided into quarters. Highly Recommend!

  281. Amazon Customer

Just wondering has anyone else had problems with the second hand going backwards. It goes from 6 to 9 than goes backwards. When laid flat it works fine. Has just now started doing this. Bought this past fall.

  282. AxelAxelAxel!

The clock is perfect for learning. Unfortunately since Christmas 2018 it has gone from complete silent movement to a clearly identifiable rattling sound. It is not a sound that corresponds with the passing of seconds, but rather with the constant movement of the arm showing the seconds. I exchanged the batteries but to no avail. Really unfortunate, as it disturbs the kids in their sleep.

  283. grimey

Just getting around to writing a well deserved review now – I bought this clock some time ago and when it arrived, the face of it had bubbles in the plastic coating and there was dust and stuff stuck in the clock that couldn’t be removed. I didn’t write a bad review or anything, just included the problems in the comments explaining why I was returning it. I opted not to order this clock again. Not too long after I sent it back, another one arrived – compliments of the seller. I was not only amazed at the customer service and willingness to just send me a clock, but the clock itself was in great shape this time. I also like that the second hand runs smoothly and you don’t hear the “tick tick tick” sounds like some other clocks. I recommend this clock, especially from this seller because you’re going to get great customer service if needed.

  284. janis

I like the individual lines and numbers between the minute numerals to help children learn how to tell time using the minute hand. For example, it is easier for them to recognize how to tell time when the minute hand is between the numbers 1 and 2. Instead of saying it is 5 after 10, they can now say for example it is actually 8 minutes after 10 because of how the clock is diagrammed. The clock is just the right size. As a teacher and parent, I give this clock a 10 plus.

  285. Sr. Wrench

The clock itself is quite useful. The fact it arrived in a box with the original ship to labels pasted over with new blank labels did not impress – and I assume it was a return shipped as new. Then when my granddaughter un-boxed it – we discovered the clock was in tact – apart from missing the tab cover on the rear over the battery compartment. There was also damage to the back of the shipping carton – but whatever pierced the box didn’t penetrate through the styrofoam package the clock was encased in.

I have a 9-year old and two 6-year olds, and every morning is a battle to get them out the door on time for the bus. Regular clocks, especially ones with Roman numerals or just markings in place of numbers are hard for them to read since telling time is a relatively new concept to them. This clock is awesome for their ability to not only learn time telling, but to have a way of looking to see where they stand as far as getting out the door on time. Definitely a good choice.

  287. JEL65

I bought this product for my daughter, who is currently in 2nd grade and learning to tell time. She said that she wanted a clock for her room and I wanted a clock that would help her with how to read the minutes. Alas, most clocks do not number the minutes and therefore I thought this clock would be helpful. It was also big enough to read easily and not too cutesy. Anyway, she put the clock on her wall and, to my satisfaction, she has been looking at the clock and working out the time. (The other night, at bedtime, she announced to her mother that there are 1,440 minutes in a day. I guess that she had been lying in bed working out 10 hours is 600 minutes, 2 more hours is 120 minutes for 720 for 12 hours and then she doubled that. After she impressed her mother with this information, she said: “Go tell Daddy.” I thought this was pretty cool.) She also noticed, which I had not, that the clock indicates the times: quarter past, half past, etc. She is picking up those too. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

  288. Matthew F.

Product is fine and works as it should. Only thing I have a 5 year old daughter and she wishes that she can see it at night that is the only complaint we have. Although I can’t handle bright lighted clocks a low dimming one of the same product would be beneficial for all.

  289. BiedermanBiederman

I got this for my son’s 6th birthday and he loves it! The colors are great and everything is labeled making it easy for a kid to understand (with a little help of course). Seems durable, and I think we will enjoy it for years.

  290. Blue Girl

Clock is exactly what I wanted for my classroom. However, it would work for only about 24 hours and then the second hand was the only thing moving. I’ve been busy, so I finally went to return it and the return window is closed. I am a very unhappy customer. Don’t buy this clock.

  291. Hilary Jirasek

Its exactly what was described – and we love it!! Once she understood that the short hand points to the big numbers, and then the long hand points to the little numbers, my just turned four-year old was telling me the time all the time for the next few days. We hung it in her room, at her eye level and she LOVES bringing me to her room to tell me what time it is. Additionally, we are doing really really well at being on time for things and staying on our schedule. Thank you for giving a great looking and working tool for this ‘big girl’ to be super excited about for her birthday!

  292. Amjad

nothing special about this clock.standard plastic.colors not strong . small for school wall.expected more.

  293. H. Tran

Love the design, light weight, very quiet and seems to be working really well. It’s a bit smaller than I would like.

  294. ak

Easy for kids to learn how read and tell the time.. nice work

  295. B. Mojica

The Clock is appropriate for my class.

As a school teacher of 20+ years we want to teach our grand daughter to tell the time using Analogue. We researched online for a suitable clock, large and clear enough to go on her bedroom wall.We liked the look of this Teaching Clock by Owlconic.Well it arrived today and put it bluntly – it is awesome! We love the fact that is is clear and easy to read, user friendly colours – I know our grand daughter will love it.The big test was… I put a battery in and it worked straight away.Thank you Owclonice for a great productHighly recommended

  299. LR

This clock is great. My sons are 5 and 7, and they have shown a lot of interest in it and are making a great effort to read time on all clocks with what they remember about this clock. I hung it in their play room, and tell them they can play for a certain amount of time as I point to the clock. It has helped with their transitioning from play to other activities. It is also very easy to clean, and I love that the face is acrylic. I don’t worry about glass shards all over if something is launched at it.

  300. jason rapsis

The Owlconic teaching clock helped my seven year old to visualize and figure out how to tell time on analog clocks. I put it near the breakfast table and ask him the time and it is fun to see him work it out by himself. It reduced his annoyance at Dad explaining a clock face again and again and gave him confidence. And helps him figure out when school bus comes in the morning. Thanks owlconic. Oh, and it is well built and keeps time great.

  301. Vanessa Phan

I bought this clock for my 5 year old son, and he immediately was drawn to its fun colors and was excited that he could be able to tell time. We place it by the dining room table so he could spend time seeing at as he ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. I love that it also shows the concept of “half past”, “a quarter to” or “a quarter after”, which can be difficult to grasp and remember at a young age. I think the daily practice of being able to tell time, and see a clock that they understand is so helpful for children learning this abstract concept of time. The seconds hand is also great, especially because it is silent.

  302. Kelley pritchettKelley pritchett

It’s a great learning clock for someone learning to tell time. My daughter can apply what she’s learned so far to a working clock with movement. It’s colorful, silent, and has references on the face and hands.

  303. DavidDavid

The grandkids love this clock it is simple to tell time and have a understanding of what this clock is all about thank you.

  304. Daniel T. Grifo

Bought this for our son who is starting to learn to tell time. What is cool about this clock over others is that it has the numbers for the minutes, but also has hours and 5 minute intervals. One thing that my wife pointed out was the Quarter Past, half past and quarter to, which is a nice touch. Using different colors also helps our son associate the different quarters and numbers. All around good clock.

  305. Ruff????????????????

Teaching my grandsons to tell time is why I purchasedan this clock. However, it’s such a pretty clock, it goes with the decor and works in older kids room.

  306. Danielle Alfred

Its way too small for a classroom wall and i expected the second hand to be ticking. It will be more difficult for students to pace themselves now when counting one minute. Im not pleased about this product 100%

  307. Chris Petty

I wish it was bigger, but good Concept

  308. Zara

Pros: Clock looks nice. Seller responsive.Cons: Received a clock that didn’t work. Seller promptly sent a replacement. Replacement clock’s notch in the back wasn’t aligned to the center so the clock hung at a 10 degree angle. Had to tilt the clock and press it against the wall so the wall friction is keeping it straight. I might end up taking the working clock box out of the second clock and inserting it into the previous non-functional clock.

  309. Chris & Sandy P.

It didn’t work. The clock kept stopping. We returned it.

  310. Thomas

Its a start. Nice Education tool

This clock is great, works great and teaches our son time. He’s almost got a grasp of it!

  312. Amazon Customer

I got this clock with a time-telling teaching kit for my four and a half year old nephew fascinated with time. I use sand timers with him and his little brother to help with them taking turns, waiting relatively patiently for me to finish something so we can start another activity, and simple chores. I thought he was ready for a clock to illustrate the passage of time through the day.He has kept interest in the clock, and, after a couple weeks of minimal insruction, correctly and very accurately matched a drawing of a clockface at 4:00 with when his real clock reached 4:00 and it was time for something fun. He understands passage of time a little better now, and as he matures the minute numbers and quarter hours will become useful. The information on the clock face is well thought out and thorough.I was afraid the clock face would look too busy and be confusing, but there is a symmetry and it looks good. My husband liked it and even wants one in our kitchen! To me, it feels sturdy, not cheap. On my model it’s easy to change the time. I’m pretty happy with it.

  313. ESES

I do like the clock. It helps me teach time to my 5 year old. Why 4 stars? I do not understand why the battery compartment on the back of the clock is exposed. I placed the clock within the hand reach so that I could point and discuss time with my 5yo, but that also means that the battery can fall off, or he could get access to it.I also do not understand why the circle quadrants and the numbers are not colored consistently. For example, the first quadrant is yellow but numbers 1,2,3 are green, maybe I am just missing the point.Otherwise, it is good and reliable clock.

  314. Heather T. Wang

Love this clock! It is the clearest easiest to read of any learning clocks I have seen. The contrasting colors make it really easy to see different units of time. It is lightweight but looks nice and is durable. We bought a plate stand to prop it up so we can bring it to whatever room we are in and use it as a visual aid when it’s time to count down (minutes left before clean-up time, bedtime, leaving the house, etc.). We mark it with a piece of painter’s tape and say “10 more minutes until we leave to go to school. When the big hand is pointing here it will be time to go.” Then remind again (5 mins, 1 min). No more vague pronouncements of “two more minutes” that can stretch into 5 minutes or longer – parents, you know what I mean! Works great with our 4-yr-old. It doesn’t eliminate the power struggles, but it does make transitions easier. 😉

  315. Jen708

I’ll be damned if my kid grows up not being able to read an analog clock. This looks like it’ll do the job!It feels a little more light and plastic than I had anticipated, which I read in other reviews, but I bought it anyway because it’s silent.

  316. nawras21

Would have loved it if it was more interactive.

  317. Craig

Nice wall clock for my 7 year old to learn to tell time.

  318. Dr H

I got this because my nine year old niece was still having some difficulty reading the time from an analog clockface; this clock solved the problem in just three weeks. This is a great “learning” clock, with the face marked with hour numbers, and minute numbers as well. The hands are labeled “Hour” and “Minute”, and the quarter hours, with “past” and “to” are clearly shown. My niece and her five year old sister he both love this clock, and the five year old is learning to tell time from it, too. Add to that the “continuous sweep” movement, which eliminates the ticking sound of most battery-powered clocks; this clock is silent, and doesn’t keep anyone up at night.A winner all around.

  319. TJ

not very well made, it stopped working i bought it about 2 months ago. 🙁

  320. Sara813

I was super excited for this clock. My daughter needed something like this to help her reinforce her time telling skills. Unfortunately, we just unboxed it today and it doesn’t work. After 15 minutes it stopped working. Kept changing a new battery out of the package to test it and sure enough, after another 15-20 minutes it stopped working again. Did this multiple times. I’m highly disappointed. The face of the clock is exactly what I needed and not too busy but man, it’s a fail as a product. I want my money back to purchase a clock that actually works. How do I go about doing that?Update: the seller contacted me immediately after my review and quickly refunded my purchase. They no longer have these clocks available to purchase right now though.

  321. Msai

We like this clock so far even though we are not at the learning stage yet. It has a fun feel to it and are hoping it is good for our little one to learn time!Stopped working completely in 2019! so reviews needs downgrading

  322. Rachelb

Love the concept, very cheaply made. For the price I was expecting metal and glass, but it’s all plastic. And the front was scuffed. Will likely return.

  323. Hawkins

FINAL Update:Feel free to see my original review and updates below. I’m very happy to say that the third try did it! Customer service sent me a replacement clock, which also didn’t work. They followed up with me again and said that they would be receiving a new batch of clocks with a re-vamped motor in May of 2018. I happily agreed to waiting for the new batch of clocks as I really do like this design.Success at last! I didn’t have to follow up as they remembered on their own to send me the new item (SO refreshing). I was happily surprised to receive the package in the mail. The clock has been in my son’s room for about a week now and has been working perfectly! It is definitely keeping time.I love the design and style. The clock is extremely light weight and is incredibly easy to hang. There’s no fear of damage or injury if it were to fall of the wall because of being made completely of acrylic. At first I thought the clock seemed cheap because of this and now I actually prefer these materials because of the safety reasons. It looks very classy on his bedroom wall.We look forward to having this clock for years to come! Thank you for your excellent customer service; for caring about your products and customers enough to make this right. I would not hesitate to order from this company in the future.Update:***customer service is AWESOME! I wrote this review and a couple of hours later was contacted about being fully refunded as well as shipping a replacement clock. I’m so surprised! I hope this clock works and will update this review when I receive it.Original Review:LOVED the idea and design of this clock. It does look a little cheap though as it’s made out of plastic (acrylic), but I loved the way the face was organized and knew it would be perfect for our baby boys room. Unfortunately, I finally had to return it because the clock wouldn’t work 🙁 because of the price, I am hesitating on whether or not to order it again and take another chance. Maybe I just received one with a faulty mechanism. We tried many different brand new batteries and it just would not keep time.

  324. KateC

Bought it, arrived on time, appeared as expected, but doesn’t work.Have tried two new batteries. each time it quits, so something is wrong with the quality of the manufacturing. Will be returning this.
